TheKnowHow wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have done
- All pages can be used with a keyboard, with visible focus and a “skip to content” link.
- Text and buttons are designed for sufficient colour contrast.
- Animations are reduced or switched off when your device asks for reduced motion; the animated opening screen can be skipped.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The website is available in English, Arabic (right-to-left), German and French.
Known limitations
- Some older blog images contain text inside the picture; the same information is given in the article text.
- Short animated image loops in the blog have no sound and carry no information that is not in the text.
